I was asked by my friend Jess Shay if I was interested in photographing the graduating class of 2020 at Tam High School with their family’s and I jumped at the opportunity! It warmed my heart to see the proud families from all different types of ethnic backgrounds and religions come together for this historic moment. We are all doing our best to show our support and pride to the graduating classes of 2020 under the circumstances of COVID 19. Like so many other schools across the country, Tam had to alter their graduation ceremony but was still able to make it very special. After the graduates received their diplomas they were told to meet in front of the school for photography. There were 416 graduates and I took multiple frames with different combinations of families plus the graduates by themselves. I shot about 500 frames on the first day and around 900 each of the following two days. I have experience shooting high volume photography and understand how important it is to direct and position for groups, be personal, but also be efficient. Thank you Anne Elisco-Lemme for all your help with the banner, flowers, and making sure the days ran smoothly. Congratulations to all of the 2020 graduates!
